Pot-O-Noodles

Pot, this word acquires a lot of attention from a wide range of people for all the right and the wrong reasons but however here I will be talking about the new place in Koramangala 4th Block, Pot-O-Noodles. Getting authentic Asian food has always been a task; everyone claims that they are the most authentic place in town and that you should visit them and one can only experience them by actually going and visiting them, tasting the food that they offer and of course the entire experience in itself.

Pot-O-Noodles is rich in décor, very artistic with the way they have decked up their walls and the interiors pose a very calming experience. The menu has a wide variety to choose from, preferably the noodles in a bowl concept is what they are famous for and one should definitely try this, apart from these they have a decent number of appetizers and main course options as well.

The pandas decided to have the Pan Fried Fish in Firebomb Sauce. This is a tricky dish, it contains roasted fish that is not very soft but the thickness absorbs the rich taste of the sauce which is rich in Cinnamon and the dish is not at all spicy rather it has got a very sour finishing.

For the main course we decided to have two different varieties of their Noodle Soup. We chose the Ramen Noodles which is basically their home made noodles in a Japanese inspired noodle soup. Chicken Ramen with Grilled Chicken is a noodle soup containing finely chopped Grilled Chicken, onions, coriander leaves, chilli, and a well split up egg with the yolk in a liquid state. This is one of the spiciest dish Pot-O-Noodles offers and it truly was spicy. Mix well and you are bound to cherish the taste of the masala with the vegetables and of course the chicken.

The other main course dish was the Thai Curried Ramen with Chicken; this dish is a coconut based dish that has glazed onions, coriander leaves, chilli, peanuts, and of course a well split up egg with the yolk in a liquid state. Since the dish has coconut as its main base, the soup is thicker than the others and this is heavy on your stomachs, while the taste is as South Indian as you may feel, this happened to be a really decent pot of noodle soup.

The experience here was brilliant; with the staff being very friendly and highly knowledgeable about what they offer made it easy for us to decide our dishes. Do visit them on 618, 80ft Road, Koramangala 4th Block, Bangalore.
