We visited the Blue Tokai Coffee in Koramangala for an evening coffee and snack adventure. The place was quite full but we managed to find a corner table and were ready to place our order. You have to place the order in the counter and then go collect your order once it is prepared. They have outdoor seating as well. We did not expect to encounter such healthy combinations on the menu and maybe that is why we did not truly enjoy the experience. We had the following.
Raw Cacao and Expresso Brownie is made of dates, walnuts, raw cacao, freshly ground coffee with vegan salted caramel. The brownie was too heavy and it was tough to finish as it took a while to chew each bite and that is something I did not enjoy. The taste wasn’t that great either.
Iced Latte is basically a shot of expresso with cold milk on ice.
Light Cold Brew is a fruity with milk chocolate combo that is for the non milk coffee lovers. It was probably the most unique and my personal favorite at Blue Tokai Coffee.
I would hope they improve the service as it was disappointing and be more hospitable to the guests that arrive at their coffee shop. You can find them at 583, 80 Feet Road, Opposite Bethany High School, Koramangala 8th Block, Bangalore.
