Natraj Chole Bhature recently opened their second outlet in Bengaluru, located bang in the city center Jayanagar. They offer a good variety of street food ranging from Chole Bhature to Golgappe. Most of the time you would find this place quite rushed up and having to wait your turn to get some of that mouth watering Chole Bhature. Standing and eating without a table sometimes may be tough as it can annoy you, so best to go there during lesser crowded times. We had the following while we were there and we went twice to try and get a taste of everything they offer.
We started off with Dahi Bhalla, the curd has a nice texture with well made vadas. The masala was spot on and the dish is only as good as the freshness of the dahi that is used.

Papdi Chaat is the perfect mixture of sweet, spice, and some tanginess. Fresh papri is used and served piping hot, it sure is the perfect dish for a rainy day. A lot of spices go into this dish, sometimes it confuses your taste buds as it just cannot understand the chaos.

If there is one thing you must try while you are at Natraj Chole Bhautre it is the Desi Ghee Jalebi. They may be small but you do get a decent amount of pieces per plate and they have to be the most tastiest jalebi’s in Bengaluru. The perfect crispiness and the ghee hits you with every bite, jalebi is worth every penny.

If you are a fan of some nice Badam Milk then do try their Kesar Badam Milk, chilled and served in an earthen glass, there can’t be a better way to cool down your body.

Pav Bhajji, a dish everyone enjoys as an evening snack is also available at Natraj Chole Bhature. The Pav is fluffy and soft, while the bhajji is very tasty, flavorful and has the right amount of spice as well.

The main dish however is the Chole Bhature. There are so many versions of this dish around the world but very few get it right, and I must say Natraj Chole Bhautre is one such place that has nailed this dish. The beautiful stuffing to the prefect chole mix, the onions, chill, and the chutney, there is not a single fault in any of these elements. Just blindly order this and savor it, a masterstroke indeed.

We ended with the Golgappe, I was excited to see the Suji version available here but I must say the Golgappe was a huge letdown. Compared to everything that they offer this was not even worth a single ruppee. There is no taste, no good filling, just nothing. Very disappointed with the dish and I hope they can make it better.

You cna find Natraj Chole Bhature at 87/16, Ground Floor, VGP Victory Plaza, 30th Cross, 7th main, 4th Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The parking for four wheelers will sure be a challenge, the waiting time sometimes maybe a little too much if the place is overcrowded but all in all this place will be serving some of the best street food in Bengaulru.
