Baga beach has many famous places to grab a bite and one such place is Britto’s which has been around for a really long time and is a favorite for many. If you are surely visiting this side of Baga, then you must visit Britto’s. The sea facing views, tables on the beach, sipping on some drinks and eating delicious food is indeed the best way to enjoy Goa. We had the following while we were at Britto’s.
We started off with a plate of French Fries, which was well cooked, had a good amount of salt to provide taste and was provided with two different types of sauce. We did not expect a huge quantity when we had ordered this and thus ended up being quite full, so it is best to order if you are in a group.
For drinks we had the beer, the Bira Blonde.
Nova Goa is a vodka based drink with Lychee syrup, Lemon Grass, and homemade mix.
For starters we had the Butter Garlic Prawns with Chips and Salad. Personally I felt the sauce was not that good and it was not smooth in texture. The prawns were massive in size and it was not easy to devein the prawns for me and I was not that patient enough as well.
For main course we had the Sriracha Prawn Fried Rice and that ended up being up the most beautiful fried rice I have had in Goa. The sriracha sauce surely adds lot of spiciness and taste to the rice, the pieces of prawn was cooked well, and the egg also added flavor to the whole dish. A must try when you are at Britto’s.
We ended our time at Britto’s with a simple dessert, an Alpine Mousse. The cake was delicious and had a strong taste of cheesecake to it as well, the dark chocolate made it bitter as well.
Britto’s is a fun place for a nice evening, to watch the sunset, to play in water, and to have a great time eating and dancing away to some music. They are open till midnight and right after some dinner you can take a nice stroll on the beach under the stars.
